MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR 2021
Ms Jacky and I would like to wish all staff, students and parents at SGMAA a healthy, happy and safe New Year for 2021. Set your goals, strengthen your mind, keep your promises – to not only others but to yourselves and make this year the year you transform yourself to a higher level in your Martial Arts journey (and in your every day lives) – NEVER GIVE UP, NO MATTER WHAT.
CHRISTMAS Make-up dates during JANUARY 2021
Make-up classes are being provided to SGMAA students during January 2021 to make up for classes missed during the Christmas and New Year closure period. Take advantage of daily classes at Kogarah branch during the school holidays!
COMMENCING MARCH 1ST
Commencing Monday 1st March 2021, Black Belt instructors will be running pre-gradings during class times. Please prepare for this period of pre-gradings to ensure you pass and are eligible for the official grading. Students are encouraged to practise their patterns and access the member portal to understand the grading content and do their homework!
MARCH GRADING DATES

The 1st Gradings for the 2021 SGMAA Calendar year will be held on both Saturday 13th and Saturday 20th March 2021 at SGMAA Kogarah branch and although spectators still won't be permitted in the Dojang during the gradings, we will be live streaming the events to our SGMAA Facebook Members Group for family and friends to support students on their special day.
NEXT FUN DAY @sgmaa
April 10th 2021
The next FUN DAY at SGMAA is scheduled for Saturday April 10th 2021 from 1.30-5.30pm and is our way of rewarding students for their hard work and success in reaching their next belt level! We aim to teach students that working hard towards their goals brings great reward and it is through this character development we can set them up for success in life!
Novel coronavirus MANAGEMENT policy
SGMAA are actively working to ensure our students and staff are learning and teaching in a safe environment. We are currently following the advice from the Department of Education and the Ministry of Health to monitor and respond to the unfolding international novel coronavirus situation.
