Gold Coast Open

 

One of the most longest running and most exciting events on the Taekwondo calendar is the prestigious Gold Coast Open set on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland. Registrations are now open but this event promises to sell out as the best of the best make their way north in May!

NSW State Championships

 

AUSTKD NSW State Championships will be running twice this year with a tournament in May and another, being the national selections in August. SGMAA athletes wanting to compete at the Nationals in Brisbane this year will need to be competing at the selections event at very least.

Sydney TKD Festival

The Sydney Taekwondo Festival is running again this year and SGMAA will be taking sparring squad athletes to further develop their game and keep momentum in the competition circuit. Registrations open soon, so please see your sparring coach for approval to enter.

KPNP SA Open

SGMAA will be travelling to Adelaide SA to compete in the KPNP SA Taekwondo Open this coming June. We will be taking a sizeable squad with us to SA in support of Australia's fastest growing tournament series with athletes in contention for national team selection.

ASMA Open

The Australian Sports and Martial Arts Association is making a comeback in 2024 and is a great opportunity for clubs to keep the momentum of competition during this Olympic year! SGMAA will be in full support of this event and encourages athletes of all levels to enter!

KPNP NSW Open

The Olympic standard in PSS (point scoring system) for Taekwondo, KPNP is running the KPNP OPEN SERIES Championships across Australia and New Zealand and this month the KPNP Open Series returns to New South Wales in July and is proudly hosted by SGMAA.

KPNP Malaysian International

 

MBW International Taekwondo Championship 2024 scheduled for 2-4th August 2024 in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia is set to be an action packed competition with the best of the best going head to head amongst the KPNP Taekwondo Open Series competition circuit.

Olympic Games 2024

 

The Taekwondo events will take place between the 7th and 10th of August at the Grand Palais – an architectural masterpiece in the heart of Paris, renowned worldwide for its magnificent glass roof offers an outstanding setting for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic competitions.

The AUSTKD National Championships are set to kick off in Brisbane, Queensland this year and with such an action packed calendar full of quality tournaments, what better way to keep the momentum going than to battle it out in Brisbane at the Nationals!
